Memorial celebrates our 84th anniversary on Sunday, November 17th at 11am.

Our church was organized from a prayer group in November 1935, under the leadership and vision of Rev. Dr. Willard Winfred Monroe. 

Memorial has been blessed with four gifted pastors:

  • Rev. Dr. Willard Winfred Monroe, 1935-1971
  • Rev. Dr. George Polk, 1974-1978
  • Rev. Dr. Preston R. Washington, Sr., 1978-2003
  • Rev. Dr. Renee F. Washington Gardner, 2004 to the present
